Aetna offers street agents absurdly low comps. This was before health reform. Now they are so low you might as well sell one man groups. East Coast Health Insurance can offer 2.5 times more than street level (sadly with no advance), and with lead support. Aetna has lenient underwriting and if you don’t sell Aetna you are walking away from money. Aetna pays us 13 points and we will pay you minimally 10 and more if you produce more. American General Accident Plans are the most perfect plan to pair with health insurance that we currently have. In our agency we try to sell one with almost every health policy. Additionally, you can add on a critical illness rider. This is one of our top products. We will pay minimally 50% with a 9 month advance and higher based on your production. Avmed who only offers products in South Florida still pay commissions like its 2010 including advances (12 months). We have 2 programs for Avmed including either a high comp package or a high comp package with leads. We get 18 points with Avmed and you will get 15 and bonuses.
Celtic is a decent carrier for brokers that operate in a multitude of states or if their home state has a limited amount of carriers. We use Celtic to complete our product portfolio and offer the top street level comp (non advanced) with Celtic.
Colorado Bankers Life has a very unique product that is used to make agents lots of money. We are currently offering the highest comp on the market for this product at street level and if you sell this one or know about it, you probably already know what we are offering.
